World Osteoporosis Day

Osteoporosis is very common amongst people who have crossed the age of 50. World Osteoporosis Day is observed every year on October 20th to raise awareness about the same. A considerable number of people are affected by Osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and fragile causing them to break easily due to a minor fall, a bump or even a sneeze. Fractures caused due to osteoporosis can be life threatening and major cause of pain and long term disability.

• Jaun
• Ragi
• Fox nuts
• Green leafy vegetables
• Almonds
